Common Errors & Bot Diagnostics

1. Quick health check

  1. Uptime is updating — the numbers change. This means the bot is responding and everything is OK.
  2. Test trade with a minimal amount: open a position and confirm the bot picks it up and places limit orders.

2. How to tell the bot is not working (app is installed)

Open All My Bots:

  • Balance = 0 — data is coming in, but there are no funds. Transfer money from your funding account to the trading balance.
  • Dashes (—)no data is coming in. Typical reasons:
  • incorrect API keys,
  • IP allowlist restriction.

Frequent mismatch:

  • Real API keys used with Demo trading ON, or
  • Demo API keys used with Demo trading OFF.

Remember: Demo = Demo, Real = Real.

3. Windows: Check your server timestamp

This means your PC time differs from the exchange time and needs synchronization.

Fix:

  1. Right-click the clock (bottom-right) → Adjust date and time.
  2. Click Sync now and ensure Set time automatically is enabled.
  3. If the issue persists, use a time sync utility:
  4. https://www.timesynctool.com/

4. Quick notes

  • If uptime moves and the test trade is picked up — the bot is operational.
  • Dashes in All My Bots → check API keys and IP access first.
  • Demo/Real mismatch blocks trading.
  • On Windows, keep time synchronization enabled.

Spot Bot: Entry and Averaging Logic (Spot-Bot)
Spot-Bot operates on the “leader → altcoins” model. The user selects a leader (BTC, ETH, or SOL), and the bot uses it as the main indicator of market direction. The bot’s goal is to identify altcoins with strong correlation to the leader and open spot positions when growth probability is confirmed for both the leader and the altcoin.
