Trap Radar Bot: Core Logic and Key Differences

1. General Concept

Trap Radar Bot is a futures trading bot that works with Trap Radar signals.

In a standard ST Bot, the entry logic is built into the bot itself. In Trap Radar Bot, entries are based on separate Trap Radar rules, configured independently for Long and Short.

The bot is compatible with Trap Radar PRO configurations: entry rules and filters can be transferred in JSON format. JSON import is an additional option, not a required setup step.

2. Entry and DCA

A Trap Radar signal opens a position in the selected direction.

DCA is enabled separately. A new signal from the same Trap Radar, on the same coin and in the same direction, adds a fixed amount to the position.

The DCA amount and the maximum position size in USDT are set by the user. Once the limit is reached, the bot stops adding to the position.

3. Averaging

DCA and Averaging are separate mechanisms.

DCA adds size based on new Trap Radar signals. Averaging is used to manage an already open position and follows the ST Bot averaging logic.

If price moves against the position, the bot waits for a strong move and a pullback. The averaging order is placed on the pullback according to the selected queue.

4. Position Exit

Take profit can be static or dynamic, depending on market sentiment.

Smart take, Trailing stop, and Stop loss with an armed stop order in the profit zone are also available.

Spot-Bot operates on the “leader → altcoins” model. The user selects a leader (BTC, ETH, or SOL), and the bot uses it as the main indicator of market direction. The bot’s goal is to identify altcoins with strong correlation to the leader and open spot positions when growth probability is confirmed for both the leader and the altcoin.
